MEDICAL GRADE CHEMICAL PEELS AND FACIALS
Nurse Izzi provides PCA skin medical grade chemical peels and facials in clinic, PCA SKIN is the leader in chemical peels with more than 25 years formulating the best and most innovative professional treatments in the industry.
Chemical peels act as a chemical exfoliant for the skin, removing dead skin cells and speeding up cellular rejuvenation and turnover. The skin becomes visibly smoother, brighter and more evenly toned after just one treatment.
Chemical peels help to target challenging skin concerns and deliver active ingredients (eg. AHA, BHA, TCA, pure retinol) to strengthen the skin barrier and increase the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid by fibroblasts in the skin.
Nurse Izzi offers a range of chemical peels and facials, from superficial peels with no/minimal downtime to prescription strength peels with downtime from 5-7 days where you may experience some dryness, peeling and sensitivity. Your treatments will be tailored to your skin type, concern and suitability, never a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Chemical peel treatments recommended 4 weeks apart, they can be carried out monthly to maintain skin health and provide a glowing complexion.
Duration - 45 minute appointment
Purpose - Improving skin tone and texture, correcting blemishes, treating acne and congestion, sun damage, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and rough or uneven skin.
Downtime and side effects - Depending on the strength of the peel, treatments with no downtime available, stronger peels may lead to experiencing some mild dryness, sensitivity, redness for 5-7 days.
Results - visible improvements in the skin tone, texture, brightening and active concerns including blemishes, congestion after just one treatment. A course of treatments recommended for more active concerns including acne and home skin care may be required for optimal results.
Contraindications - Pregnancy or breastfeeding, under 18 years old, allergy to nuts (perfecting peel), currently taking roaccutane or up to 6 months post roaccutane treatment. Allergy to any active ingredients in the chemical peel (can be discussed during a consultation).

MEDICAL MICRONEEDLING WITH GROWTH FACTORS
Discover the power of medical microneedling, for skin rejuvenation to reduce the signs of ageing, acne scarring, pores, dullness and dehydration. Microneedling creates multiple micro-channel injuries, penetrating only into the first couple of millimetres of the skin.

AnteAGE MD growth factor solution delivers powerful anti-inflammatory, rejuvenating growth factors and hyaluronic acid to the skin to reduce redness and promote recovery. High grade hyaluronic acid provides rapid re-hydration and volume enhancement within the upper layers of the skin. Red light LED treatment is included post microneedling to aid healing and recovery.

Downtime and side effects - redness for 1-4 days, depending on the area treated and the depth of micro-needling.
Results - Visible improvements up to 4 weeks from initial treatment, this is reliant on the natural wound healing process for tissue repair. A course of treatment is recommended 4 weeks apart for optimal results, full results can take up to 6 months, maintenance treatments recommended every 3-6 months
